I got my card on Dec 21st 2014 and the first statement closed on Jan 20, 2015.

So I assume the anniversary bonus of 6K Tier points will post in Jan 2016 and count towards to 2016 status. Is my understanding correct?
I am curious as well. My card's first statement close date was January 1st 2015...
