My wife and I traveled from SEA to DRS last week. UA 665 (SEA-SFO), UA 903 (SFO-FRA) and LH210 (FRA-DRS). Left on Thursday the 6th, arrived on Friday the 7th. Her bag made it, mine didn't. As it turns out, UA didn't even load it in SEA. LH put a tracer on it which claims that it flew the next day on LH 491 (SEA-CDG) and LH 1394 (CDG-DRS) arriving on the 8th.
A couple of points:
If the info you posted from LH is correct, it's no wonder they can't find your bag. LH 491 flies SEA-FRA, not SEA-CDG. Suggest that somebody look for your bag in FRA.
When traveling with family, it's a really good idea to distribute clothing and personal items for everyone across all checked luggage. That way you and your wife would now both have 50% of your wardrobe - and most people can survive quite well with half the stuff they bring in checked luggage.
