Things do not really heat up in the region all the time . And when they do , all airlines will fall in , and suspend services - check it .
Flights departing Israel , obviously are subject to security restrictions applied by Israeli authorities . Those leaving foreign destinations , obviously are not .
Of course these security requirements can and do cause delays . If you one day got into a security situation , I don't think you'd call them horrendous .
Also , if you got into a situation where your non El Al airline , suspended your scheduled flight , I don't think you'd complain too much , if you managed to get onto an El Al instead .
Have you any experience at all with airline security and what it involves ?
