This is my biggest pet peeve on these lines. Its self service people! I've gotten into arguments online and have simply cut them if they refuse to move. How about a simple sign at the head of the line to take any available machine? But often and in defense of the clueless, they can be difficult to spot when a family of 4 and bags are crowded around an adjacent empty machine. Need a supermarket type flashing light at larger stations.
