How often do you invoke high-end luxe travel? I don't understand why "invoke" is used here. Two-three international vacations a year, many for business, many domestic vacation.
Which leads to: are willing to pay mega bucks? For a good hotel - yes. For a good location - yes. For an "authentic" "experience" (sarcastic finger quotes) - no. Because I know locals who can show me the most authentic of experiences, I'm not willing to pay $1000+ for some hotel staff to show me how to write Chinese characters with a horse hair pen.
