Hi all. Regarding International transfer (from an international flight) in Melbourne.

Boarding Pass: Passengers who have not collected their boarding pass for their continuing flight please go to the gate of the flight departure 1 (one) hour before boarding (One hour before gate opens). The airline staff at the gate counter will then issue the boarding passes.

Luggage: The passenger needs to double check on the first leg flight into Melbourne that their luggage will be checked right through- This usually occurs with full service carriers such as Emirates. If the passenger is using low cost carriers, they generally operate on a point to point service, so best to have in writing or on your ticket that your luggage will in fact be checked through (never assume).
