To the OP, no lounge in JTR. You can get a (reasonably priced) beer on the 1st floor cafe (with an outdoor seating area) in the airport. No benefit at all to arrive early I don't think. Check the airport website a day in advance to see if there are many other flights due out at the same time as the BA flight.
Really? I was drinking pints of beer in prime locations in central Helsinki three weeks ago for 7Eur, less than that two weeks before in Stockholm and I would expect to pay even less than that in Paris.

St Marks in Venice is a notorious rip off. At 12Eur for a beer sounds like Santorini wants to compete with it.
