Do you remember what USA Today you read that statistic? Quite honestly, I like flying with the EWR crowd, there are those who are a challenge, like the woman in this post; but a lot are just great. They appreicate attentive service, a smile and common courtesy. They do not like rudeness, being lied to or sourpuss faces.

You are absolutely correct, rude behavior happens in every corner of the world. It knows no social structure, ethnic group or age group. I remember a flight years ago when I made the landing annoucement and said, "Welcome to Minot, South Dakota." and the entire plane said (in very loud agitated voices)"It's in North Dakota!". Needless to say, that was the longest 737 deplaning process in the world (I couldn't wait for them to get off)!
