Bluntly, I would just say this woman was an utter moron. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

But regarding the movie making/breaking flight, at least for me, no. I flew 16 segments on UA last month, and didn't pay attention to the movie once. Likely will do the same this month, where they'll be showing "Inspector Gadget" for two weeks. Oh joy.
