Usually we fly together in an J/K pair with Debbie taking the window. I've only sat at a PE window once. It is just barely possible to get by the aisle passenger without them having to get up. They do have to pull their legs in. Other than the view, I don't see much of a difference between J and K. Be warned, there the row 27 "window" seats do not really have a window. We've sat in 27 J/K a few times. You can see out but there isn't a window directly by the seat.
I put my small carry on under the bean bag. Works for me but I'm only 5'8".

The front row D/E pair look like they may have less leg room. Not sure as we've never sat in them. I'd also avoid the very last row of J/K due to noise.

A/B and J/K have more privacy than the D/E seats.

I was traveling solo, I'd want a D/E seat. I prefer not to share aisle access with a stranger.
