Does it make any sense to try to obtain Gold Status with Aegean Airlines using the following information - or am I better off just adding my MileagePlus account to my Aegean Airlines flights?

On United I have PQM: 13,125 and PQS: 15. I travel for work but just once a month and I usually take United.

Next week I will be flying to Greece and taking a couple of trips on Aegean Airlines.
-Flight to Athens is a United flight booked using miles. It is a United Reservation and I am taking an Aegean Airlines plane from London.

-Within Greece: 3 flights on Aegean Airlines.

-Leaving Greece to another country: United Reservation using an Aegean Airlines plane.
