Dog on flight
Recently, I flew with a dog and its owner in my row on 5+ hour flight on UAL.
I asked the flight attendant as the dog was not a service animal, and she clarified that the dog may be brought for "comfort". No kennel or bag to hold the dog which looked about 30 pounds.
At hour 3, the dog was walked up to the bathroom.
As we exited the aircraft, the dog was sitting on the seats as the owner took the bags out of the overhead.
Perhaps, I'm the outlier here but not thrilled with any of this.
Any advice on how I can approach United or the FAA on how to regulate this better? -The flight attendant admitted that what she could do was very limited.
On another subject, are any other airlines not allowing this?
