TG have enough of their own problems, that they are likely grateful that QR utilise their lounges...and pay them for the privilege.
Not sure what you're talking about. I fly TG F frequently and the cabin is almost always well filled, at least to 2/3 of capacity. I'm not saying these are money-paid tickets but the cabin is certainly not empty. On top of that, TG Platinum members have access to the F Lounge as well.

There are not that many First Class departures out of Bangkok to begin with. Star Alliance only has Swiss since Lufthansa does not operate First Class anymore to BKK. LH/LX/OS do however have an agreement with TG to allow HON Circle Members into the F Lounge.

So all that remains are third party contracts such as the one with Qatar. Most airlines however just use Louis Tavern First & Business Class Lounges. But I guess QR wouldn't want to sink that low so they rather pay Thai.
