Just mention flying back from MCO to any flight attendant and wait exactly one millisecond for their reaction.
We're talking inexperienced travelers, family vacations, strollers, car seats, kids that are exhausted and cranky, little kids screaming on descent when the air pressure change hurts their ears, long lines outside the lav, and so on. I remember one FA describing one such flight as a giant day care center in need of a two hour time out. "Never again will I fly Mouse World," was the closing line.
It's not a route that those flight attendants with seniority often bid on.
And it all starts when those inexperienced travelers show up at that big and confusing airport to check in.
TPA has a lot of that, too, but it's far less crazy than MCO. If the price and schedule work, TPA is often the better alternative.
