I've done a fair bit of searching but nothing really popped up for an answer to this:

If one is over six foot...say around 185cms...
is the window more preferably to a D and E seat in the Space Seat?

I am travelling alone from AKL to LHR via LAX in a few weeks and have stumped up the premium...committed as I vaguely remember the horror of a 343 Y flight a few years back.

I was hoping to nab a D or E seat, but the cabin is chocker, so I have gone for a window (I'd rather be doing the climbing as opposed to be climbed upon!).

I am thinking of taking another look with 48hours to go, however keen to hear of others' experiences with the window seats.

Is there any legroom to speak of at the window, or does the angle of the plane fuselage + seat reduce it somewhat? also...is it worth spending the $150 seat select on Row 23? are all the Row 23 seats similar in legroom?
