Executive lounge offering is also nothing to write home about although I wasn't there for evening offering last stay. Will check that today as I unfortunately have another stay booked.
Should have booked these stays other way around with two W-A and one Hilton.
If you want to book Hilton in Berlin and care for room, go for W-A. Even their standard room is twice the size and much better furnished.
If this is the worst Hilton you have ever been to you must have not stayed at many Hilton's. I was there a month ago and it was one of my best Hilton stays and other diamonds have reported the same.
The location is a lot more convenient than the WA, the rates when I was there were a lot better than the WA and the WA does not have a lounge or offer breakfast. Just being across the street from the U and the free breakfast were great. And being able to check in early after flying all night was great.
Did you try the breakfast in the breakfast room? It's one of the best breakfast in a hotel I have had.
I went to the Hilton Paris Opera the same day I checked out of that hotel and missed the Hilton Berlin. Big difference in treatment of their guests.
Hilton Berlin really takes good care of their diamonds compared to other properties
