I am going to Cebu in December for a short 24h week-end on the beach. I looked on the internet and am hesitating between the Shangri-La Mactan and the Plantation Bay also in Mactan. I had bad experiences picking up hotels based on their web page. I am basically looking for a tropical break on the beach in the middle of a business trip, so it should be as different as possible from the typical business hotels, but still nice. Does anyone have a recommendation ? Thanks.
