As I will only stay for one night in the USA, I am wondering what your experiences are with us immigration oficers? Of course I will tell the officer the purpose of my trip is miles, but will this raise issues when you make several trips per year? I plan another tp run to be booked at the anticipated ebd-of-year sale.
Thanks!
Having made many 24hr trips to the US for many reasons IME they won't be alarmed, even less with the new e-gates. As you say, just make sure you have a valid passport and ESTA and be honest (they are very used to December with airports full of AA mileage runners anyway!).
I believe
CWS has a more interesting story about a TP run which caused some interest on a subsequent trip to a British dependency however...
