You should check out Briggs and Riley. It's the only brand of luggage that gives you a warranty that even covers airline damage. I have a 26" upright that has been on a few international trips and is holding up very well. I'll need about 20 more trips before I can compare it to my old standby, the Samsonite hardside :-). I never had heard of B&R before, but all of a sudden, I notice a lot of them around the airport.

You can buy B&R on ebags, which was suggested by everyone above.
