It depends on what you mean by recommended - every airport in the IATA scheduling system has a minimum connecting time for carrier, destination and terminal combinations published by the airport operator which is then used by IATA members to issue tickets with "legal" connections that, if missed, will be rearranged at no extra cost to passengers.

At DXB this is 75 minutes for EK-EK flights - the minimum time that EK think they need to get you from one flight to another if all goes well.

However, you may have other concerns, such as, wanting to stop for food, lounges (if applicable), or taking into account any possible delays. If EK is selling you a ticket with a connection time, they think they can make it work - it's up to you and your schedule as to whether you think you need more time and how important your presence at the destination at the scheduled time is
