The best thing about simulators are that they are just that. 1+1 will always equal 2. The real world isn't a fixed algorithm computer. Pilots always quip about his "the sim land different to the real aircraft", and that is for a reason. Plus if you crash a sim you can reset it, or walk out and have a cup of tea.......which is nice.
