Interesting post, thanks for the info, and will look into it. I must say I did a double-take when I saw MSC status match. As a frequent cruiser as well as Hilton Diamond, I've never taken MSC, but never heard of a hotel program offering something like this. Brilliant marketing strategy!
I don't think it is the hotel program (Hilton) offering this but rather the cruise company offering the status match. I've haven't seen anything that shows that Hilton is involved in this.
