Strictly speaking of UA MP, I think the drop is mainly due to only 3 things:

1) Shift to $-based RDMs
2) Loss of glitch-inherited status benefit
3) Increased PQD requirement

IMHO, not much else has changed in last year...

And it is still ahead of Delta's FFP, which suffered the same fall due to $-based FFP issues and is stingier w awards.
