Hah...I was reading this thread again when it bumped in my subscriptions and didnt even realize it was my own for a moment.

IIRC (had to look back at my calendar to recall what trip this was), I removed my SM# from one ticket to avoid any complications with double-booking, planning to show up at the gate, explain things to the GA, and hope to scan both BPs for an empty middle.

But then there ended up being WX that day with lots of delays, etc. I ended up changing flights in a SC where the agent was aware of both tickets, and got one of them moved to an earlier delayed flight. The other was a throwaway.
