Greetings,

It seems that many newer hotels have new TVs (usually Phillips) that have the volume limited to about half. Depending upon the arrangement of the room, location, etc. I cannot seem to turn the TV up loud enough to a comfortable level. They claim it is to "protect" us from other guests who turn their TV too loud, but I think it is frustrating.

Does anyone know a way around these artificial limits?
