The requirement now is 50,000 miles on United and Partners, but the PQD of $6,000 annually can only be on United. I spend most of my $s on the international routes on Singapore so, I cant qualify based on this new PQD requirement.
So use a foreign address and skip the entire PQD requirement. As mentioned, if you're going to the same place in India (or wherever) the it should be easy enough to get a once a year mail held and pick up while you're there, or even have someone airmail it to you when it arrives.
