Perhaps your combination of factors precludes you from paying online, afterall...
I tried to add luggage online in the usual way but the system just displays this message: "For this flight you can arrange (extra) baggage at the airport only."
(Frustrating, as no doubt it would be at least twice the price, and probably not payable with FB miles.)

Thanks for your help! Starting to wonder though if it would be simpler just to stuff everything into cabin luggage this time (just a pain since Transavia don't allow the additional accessory, and their cabin luggage rules override KLM's as far as I know).
