I know, I know, but I do have a reason for bringing up the Sofitel.

Queenstown has a handful of options in the true luxury market and a very limited amount of rooms in town itself. Sofitel is the big property and a respectable option for a large chain. The location is great - walking distance to everything. I feel the best value is with the suites - all suite guests have nightly drinks and canapes from 5-7 pm.

They do have a spa and offer treatments. The bath tubs are large, comfortable and have an in-wall TV.

Sofitel makes a great effort, but they are not on the same offering as an Eichardt's, etc.
