While I also hate tethered bottles, this is absolutely a luxury hotel. I'd go so far as to say it's one of my favorite in the world. It's hard to describe, but being a Charlestonian for so long, this is the only hotel in CHS that elicits that coveted 'sense of place'....
The food is incredible, and the whole 'lobby is a kitchen and the kitchen is a lobby' thing is amazing.
I loved the hard product and the soft product. Beds and linens (and towels) were beyond clutch.
So yeah - definitely a 'world favorite' for me. Think about it often.
