Wondering if anybody has experience with the 787 extra leg room seats.

We'll have the LHR-SFO in coach and I get ELR for free, but the missus does not.
In May I forked out the $70 for her on the A340 but there I think it makes more sense given the twin seat configuration.
The 787 only has one row of ELR and I feel we might be better served by picking a row with a middle seat empty. Flight is in early december and at present looks rather empty.
