I booked a 7 night C+P stay for April 2016 this past May. When they downgraded to a Cat 6, I got an automatic reservation update email reflecting the new Cat 6 C+P rate.
If your reservation hasn't been updated yet, I would definitely reach out to Hyatt.
Since the move back to a Cat 6, there has been word that they have blocked out all C+P rates going forward. I am not sure if this was the case when the hotel was previously a Cat 6 prior to moving up to a 7.
If they are blocking C+P rates I would not be surprised. Don't they get compensated more from GP for full point stays vs C+P?
