Are all properties meant to give out vouchers for MAGC?

I recently had a stay at the Aloft Liverpool which was perfectly fine in most respects except for the fact that MAGC seemed a little shambolic with no vouchers each night and thus no way to check whether the MAGC selection was properly counted. Inevitably I got short changed for 2 nights.
