If you must stay there in the immediate area, the Sheraton, as noted, is a litte better choice. There is also a Clarion in Edison which is pretty good and notably a good value. The train station alluded to is Metro Park and it can take you straight to Manhattan's Penn Station easily. Another good choice if you want to have access to Manhattan and Edison both via rental car and can pay a liitle more - the Short Hills Hilton hotel. It is about ten miles north of the Shearton Edison and it is the best hotel in the area by far!
