Citibank CitiMiles or Citi$ earned are always in a separate pool. They are tagged to each individual card.

The question is whether Citibank PremierMiles Amex and Visa CitiMiles can be combined (which previously stated was they couldn't). Citi$ can be combined from different Cards (though not sure whether it's still valid).
