Not really, especially if you have an EMV Discover card, as the EMV chip on a Discover card doesn't have the UnionPay AID, so it has to be a fallback transaction, which lots of people report problems with.
There are also lots of acquirers that have banned the Discover BINs from being processed even though they should go across the UnionPay network. China and her children don't really seem to care about following rules of payment processors.
