The best places to visit have been covered but if you are in the mood for some great bargains, find a Great Canadian Superstore (look up a location in the phonebook) and go shopping! This supermarket/Kmart/Target is about 150,000 square feet in size and sells everything imaginable. With agressive pricing and the favorable exchange rate, my wife and I always seem to fill up out car when we go up to BC every other month or so. You can easily save 30-50% over what you would pay at Costco/Taget/Kmart, etc. in the USA.

P.S. Go to Granville Market HUNGRY!!! There is sooooo much fantastic food to sample there.
