Now, I never said it was a 3/7 odds - soo many other aspects must be taken into account if guessing aircraft on a route.

As for the HKG route, it may very well be that summer time the older A340s are tied to BKK and SIN. However, Finnair initially said HKG was on the full-flat-guarantee-list, then changed their minds and said it was only duting the winter schedule. That change must have reflected something.

While history of flights is not a good indicator of what aircraft will serve what route, looking through july history, Purjelentaja has a valid point.

LQA: 26 segments of SIN, 8 segments of BKK
LQF: 11 segments of SIN, 24 segments of BKK, 4 segments HKG, 2 segments BRU

No idea if this has any bearing on flight scedules in september though.
