Of course, the advantage to the airline is to save costs. And I *agree* that they have the right to save cost. However, since they aren't offering any benefit to me, there is a serious collision between their desire to save cost and my certainty that I want a paper ticket. For example, if they said "we will give you 500 FF miles for using an e-ticket" *I* would still take a paper ticket. Actually, at least in my case, this change may *cost* them money. I have flown over 2 million miles without ever using a travel agent (excluding EaasySabre - RIP). Now, to get a paper ticket, I may begin using one. The net result will be a loss of income to the airlines, not a gain (in my case - overall they may save a lot of money).
