Interesting...a few months ago (LHR-FRA) I sat next to a medical courier who was transporting, I believe, a kidney, in what looked like a lunchbox cooler. Comments about the inadequate BA breakfast were tactfully avoided.
Given the amount of small dogs that seem to be taken onto flights in the US, I'm glad the same doesn't happen here or that kidney could have ended up looking like the heart from "Rat Race".
In other news, an Arab chap once got on an EY flight with a falcon sat on his shoulder.
