I am considering applying for the MP Club card - don't have any MP cards as of yet. I understand that with $25k in purchases during the calendar year you will receive a waiver for UAL Platinum status. If you hit the $25k in spend on the card, and fly >100k miles but fail to hit the $10K in PQD, can you reach 1K status?
