That is one thing that sucks about CP. Even if you book BS and add your companion, they get a separate confirmation # and zero perks of BS. No Fly By, no priority boarding. They have to check in at T-24 just like everyone else and will have a boarding position much further back from you.
One good thing is that you can use CP even on a ticket you buy with points if there is a seat avaiable.
I think you can get around the FlyBy if they are actually with you and your last name is the same. You can say look we have two confirmation #'s but we are traveling as a family or couple etc.
Seems like most SWA Ticket Agents are cool with this.
I am AL, and the guy flies with me wasnt AL and he went with me and no issues at all from the TA
