Wow, Chase CSR is getting unfriendly and major attitude. I have a lot of spend and business with them and when I call in looking for a retention bonus they treat me like they don't give a care AT ALL. It used to be WAY different before.
CSR - "If you are calling to cancel we will close it now."
Me: "Are there any retention offers available?"
CSR: "We dont know until you ask to close it, but if there aren't when we check, your account will automatically be closed."
Me - "What? I'll call back later, and ask someone else"
Maybe Sunday is not the day to call. When I asked for it, they said they no longer have a retention dept and that the CS rep you get handles everything.
Chase is becoming a different animal.
