Have an international vacation trip planned for July 2015 (ATL to ICN [S. Korea]) and looking to accumulate as much points for use either for flight or hotel. If my SO is an authorized user on my CSP, can I still use Chase's referral so that my SO can also open a CSP (SO currently without any Chase cards)? I have the CSP as my only Chase account.

Hitting the 4k/3mo limit isn't a problem, as that'll be solved quickly with regular spending.

The next question I had was, would there be any good hotel cards that both of us could apply for that might add to the points stockpiling? I was first looking at Marriott, but then I saw this forum and saw that people were not that high on it. Then some have suggested Hilton but there are various choices and hard to weigh the best option. Currently do not own any hotel cards.
