Perhaps I am not aware this being discussed in other threads, if so please alert the moderator to merge to the apprioate thread.

I was just checking some fares for ORD-SFO for October, first thing that surprised me is now daily 777 is back for this route for both direction, and it is 3 class ! It uses the similar time slot for daily 777 on this route way before the merger, outbound 9am inbound 1pm, the outbound ORD-SFO also use the same PMUA flight number before the merger UA769.

Second thing is the 777 for SFO-ORD is using a flight number UA2023 ! Since when UA had flight number for mainline that big ? So sUA flight number is no longer limited to 200-999, but also 2000+ ?
