This same problem affected me for the first two years after the merger. Never received a newsletter, program change announcements, statements or promo, but did get upgrade, flight status and reservation e mails. I e mailed 1K voice explaining the problem and telling them it wasn't a spam folder issue. I had to follow up 3-4 times, as 1K Voice did drop the ball. But eventually UA IT was able to fix the problem. Now, I get 1-3 various e mails per day from UA. No kidding. Be careful what you wish for!
I knew the problem was on UAs side, but convincing them took time.
I could have written the op myself word for word....tried several ways to fix it...no luck. What did they finally do to correct it?
