mauld: I've stayed at the Summerfield Suites, 166 E Superior St., a couple of times. It's an all suite hotel, similar to a Marriott Residence Inn. I've gotten very good rates there. Great location, close to Michigan Avenue shopping.

Another plus - you can enjoy great pizza at Gino's East next door. (Then you can work it off swimming in the outdoor pool.)
