That I'm not sure of, but are there any other options that might be more palatable? Take an earlier flight back so that you can make the last YYZ-YOW? Stay an extra day at your destination then find a ???-YYZ-YOW that works better the next day?
When a schedule change causes a misconnect, Aeroplan/AC can open up inventory that may not ordinarily be available for a reward, so this can potentially be an opportunity for you to tweak your flights in your favour.
