Yeah, you might be right. Maybe the flight between Mexico and Houston only has Economy… I don't know…

I understand that transit through Mexico might make miles-price higher due to it being in a different region… However, the fact that it comes up as 62 500 miles in the two pages prior to the payment page gives the impression that their pages are buggy (as mentioned by akr1970akr).
