Only bringing up Canadian as I know there are some differences between the two sets of programs.
I currently have an Amex Gold, which I will keep as my go-to for a while (taking a break from churning as well). I just cancelled the Amex Plantinum as it wasn't doing much for me. Basically, my biggest purchases a year as an aggregate grouping are travel or groceries/drugstores, which I get 2x points from Amex Gold.
I was looking, however, on the Blue Sky credit card. Apart from the current welcome bonus of 10,000 points and no fee, how useful is it for those who do use it? Do you use it with another CC or use it almost exclusively for your rewards programs. The redemption is 10,000 points = $100 credit towards any travel purchase on my card, but rewards are a flat 1.25 points per $1 spent (and no transfer to Aeroplan or other airline if I read that correctly).
Would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!
