i just ended a 7 day experiment with htc's m9. while sense is not as intrusive as touchwiz, it still permeates in way i wish it hadnt.

the 3x4 pulldown panel is useful. the 4-way navigation button is useful. but the htc home launcher is still visible on lock screen, even if you switch to stock google launcher for normal use.

and although all the absolute senseless htc crapware can be hidden on the app drawer, it shows up on google store play demanding updates.

while this is htc's current flagship (m9+ not yet available), it is still quite laggy in ways the iphone isnt. and the battery performance both charging and discharging falls somewhere between unlivable and horrendous.

i had every iteration of the google-branded phones and quite enjoyed the last 2. was looking forward to going back to android but this was a frustrating experience. waiting for oneplus 2 to release, but otherwise its iphone for now which has shown why its been so popular for so many people -- it gets out of the way and works
